The difference between composting and worm farming
Organic waste will naturally decompose, however that can take some time, which could be sped up by worm farming or composting. The difference between worm farming and composting is that compost bins are better when holding large amount of waste where as if you put to much organic waste in worm farm the worm could overfeed and die. Compost bins also heats up to a temperature between 90 degrees and 140 degrees which no worm could survive. This means the composting bin releases heat soil can smell. Composting is also a slower process compared to worm farming.
